Still have both my Favre jerseys, and I will still wear them proudly. I don't care how the season ended. That was still by the far the most fun year I've ever had as a Vikings fan

I noticed how great the Vikings are when they get a really old but still talented qb. Vikings aren't a bad team. I don't understand why they don't play as well with ponder.

Thank you for this, seriously. I'm from Mississippi, and around here we worship Favre. That 2009 Super Bowl was robbed from us, and from Brett. He should have gotten to go out on top, instead of disgraced, how history played out. And even though the Saints are the closest team to home, I can never and will never root for them, because they destroyed the dream of what would have been the most memorable season and surely one of the most memorable Super Bowls of all time. I'll never live it down.

So many memorable games that year. The 49ers game, both Packers games, the Steelers game (cuz we really should've won that one), the Ravens game, the Dallas game in the playoffs, and, even though we lost, the Monday Night game against the Bears in Week 16 was probably my favorite cuz we had been in a funk for 3 weeks and Favre rallied us to overtime and that momentum carried over into the next 2 games. I'm 19, so 2009 was my glory season as a fan.
