El Presidente! The people, they revolt! (Footage of Tropico 1 revolution)

I played the demo to Tropico 3 and was very interested in the game. However, it was not out yet, so I went and got Tropico 1 instead. I found that the original is a GREAT game, especially for the time era it was released. There are many City building type games out there, but very few that your citizens will revolt against you. And in this case, the miners decided to rise up and overthrow me. I had not built much of a military up to this point, so the revolution was mostly an all out civillian Civil War melee brawl! However, you do hear various gunshots throughout the episode. In the end, it looks like the revolution failed and I remained supreme dictator! However, the war had cost the country much, and there wasn't much left to try to hang onto after all the destruction. But I randomly had this happen and paused the game to get FRAPS up to see what was going to happen. Hope you enjoy it, and if you haven't played the original Tropico, give it a go, it is good! Tropico 2 .. not so much.. and Tropico 3 .. I only played the demo, but it looks like they have much of what made the first game work in this version, so it looks to be good as well. Anywho, Viva La Revolution!

@hele4491 LOL yeah, I think I pushed it too far. I had stuff to make them happy in the works, but they didn't seem to care. But gotta love all out Civil War.

@srry4beatinu The new one is one of my favorites. There are many things you can do to keep them happy. But JUST in case don't forget to have a strong military in case they get any bright ideas :)

I know you could make them happy by putting a cheat code. Hold the Ctrl button while typing contento and their happy level goes up.
