We recently created and tested four wall panels for moisture drainage rates. Each panel consisted of a plywood backup, a central drainage material, and a plywood face. The top had a funnel to pour water into and at the bottom was a drain pan. This panel contained MTI Gravity Cavity GC 1832. Two liters were poured into the panel. Within 42 seconds, most of the water had drained. Within a few minutes, the dripping stopped. GC 1832 gets entrapped moisture out of walls Fast! (Music by Kevin MacLeod.)
