HEY MIKE!!! Can you I also got a dv6000, but i looked up on the internet and you can only upgrade it to 2gb. how'd u get yours to be 4g? and what is the name of that ram

@jeydyer I had the same problem. It turned out that i simply didnt connect the RAM correctly

I did all the steps and added the new cards. The ones I had were 256, now I added 2 cards 1gb each. The problem is that when I turn it on , the screen is black. What could be causing this problem?
