  • This tune is called Darkie's Dream .... Not Acorn Stomp. Acorn Stomp is a four part tune as put together by the East Texas Serenaders. Two parts of which is this tune. Add two more and it's Acorn Stomp.

  • The East Texas Serenaders recorded Acorn stomp with a 50 second introduction, somewhat reminiscent of Beaumont Rag, played once. Then they switch to the two parts in the video, which they repeat 4 times.

  • @whereslisa I don't hear the relation to Darkie's Dream, but I only know Gene Goforths version which is definitley not this tune.

  • Waa! Never can go to Valley of the Moon! Bummer! It's enough to want to quit my job just so I can take the week off and go!
