@skip8619 final fantasy has little to do with the games and movis (of course they are a part of final fantasy) but infact final fantasy is THE final fantasy of the creator.

I think the creators of this movie did it a disservice by calling it "Final Fantasy", because it has nothing to do with Final Fantasy and gets flak from all the FF fans as not being representitive of the series at all. But as a standalone movie it's awesome
