This is a video clip of the song "Born Fighter" featuring the classic line-up of ROCKPILE - Nick Lowe, Dave Edmunds, Billy Bremner and Terry Williams.
"Born Fighter" was released on Nick Lowe's 1979 album "Labour Of Lust" and was also featured on his 1989 compilation "Basher - The Best Of Nick Lowe".
An interesting side note here - the killer harmonica solo on this song was played by none other than Huey Lewis, who would go on to mega-success in the 1980's as the frontman of Huey Lewis and The News. During these same sessions, Lewis would also play another killer harmonica solo on the song "Bad Is Bad' (released on Dave Edmunds' 1979 album "Repeat When Necessary"). Huey Lewis and The News would record their own version of "Bad Is Bad" in the 1980's for their breakthrough album "Sports". And, as Paul Harvey would say, now you know the rest of this story! LOL!!
