Kasik at the adoption event

Kasik is a 13 month old Australian Shepherd. When he first arrived at the shelter he was very scared and insecure. When we first entered the run he backed away and circled around, unsure. Then after a couple of moments he approached tentatively and dropped a tennis ball a couple of feet away. Then the bonding began! Kasik came out of his shell as he played. Just seeing this shy dog transform was a heartwarming experience. With someone with the knowledge and patience to help Kasik continue to build confidence, he will blossom into a wonderful companion.
