Jungle cake

I made
One 12x12 inch square cake for the base.
One 7" round cake for the hill and water fall.

Cut the 7" round into half one bigger than the other.
Cut those halves into half again
So now you have 4 unequal quarters.
Stack the two large quarters dome side out, cut side down for the hill
Stack the two small quarters dome side in, cut side down for the water fall.
Then trim and smooth into a water fall shape.

Coverd the cake with three shades of marbled brown.

For the water fall.
Bloom 1/2 tbslp of gelatin in 1 tblsp of water for 2 mins.. Heat on very low until melted then add 1/2 cup light corn syrup. Cool in the fridge then sir and put on the fall. .

Rest of the decorations are mostly royal icing...

Have fun. Please let me know if you need any more help.

Thanks for watching.
