Museumnight: 120 singers, musicians and dancers in Rijksmuseum Amsterdam

Over 12.000 visitors came to the Rijksmuseum in one single night! Groups of musicians, positioned throughout the building, led the audience deep into the museum's interior. Fragments of baroque music blended with new compositions and groovy brass tunes. Actors, singers and dancers interacted with the audience, who had the opportunity to do some painting themselves, and to dance in the Silent Disco. We never created a "stage", but set the music among the audience, establishing a unity between the paintings, the music, the visitors and the building.
