These are scenes filmed in Dallas,Texas from a 1978 television movie called "Ruby and Oswald". This program was about the events surrounding the assassination of President Kennedy. The program is about President Kennedy's death, but more importantly or rather more specifically it is about the movements of Jack Ruby and Lee Oswald in regards to the President's death, and the timeline of their movements in Dallas in the period November 22, 1963-November 24, 1963. It was a very good program as far as the timeline of events and of the psychology of Lee Harvey Oswald and Jack Ruby. This is part 1 of 2 parts of short clips from this program. This segment starts off showing the building which was the Dallas Police Department/Dallas City Jail (which was located at Harwood and Main streets in Downtown Dallas). The location of the Dallas Police Department at Harwood and Main streets is about a mile east & one block south of Dealey Plaza. Incidentally, the Dallas County Jail was Oswald's destination from the Dallas City Jail/Dallas Police Department on November 24, 1963. The City Jail housed Oswald until he was filed on, then they tranferred him to the County Jail. This tranferring was all customary protocal in 1963. Oswald was shot in the Dallas Police Department basement/parking garage as he was getting into a car to take him to the County Jail and taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital where he passed away. The Dallas County Jail where Oswald would have been taken is located across the street from Dealey Plaza. The entrance where Oswald would have been driven into at the County Jail are these two vehicle entrances around what looks like a one story metal gray frame between the Records Building and the Dallas County Building on east side of Houston street between Main street and Elm Street. Dealey Plaza is on the west side of Houston street. This so called frame containing the two entrances seems to be about 30-40 feet wide or so total with the two entrances inside of this area. Another interesting thing on the video is that this was supposed to be in 1963, but at 2:36-2:39 of the video the Kennedy Memorial at Market and Main street can be seen in the segment. That memorial was finished in 1970 so obviously this was not in 1963.

im confused on why jack ruby didn't shoot lee oswald in the head. his plan on killing him obviously worked but being shot in the stomach dosen't always result in death.

people accused by the conspiracy nuts of having participated in the assassination. We could watch Oswald carry out the shooting alone. We could observe Ruby shooting LHO alone. Yet the conspiracy loons would still cry cover-up. They'd claim the time machine was a government controlled devise that transported people to a government controlled parallel universe. The conspiracy loons are not interested in the truth. They're looking for evidence that confirms their predetermined outcome.

A time machine could be built that could transport all of us back to Dallas of '63 where we could observe the events of the day. We could see LHO firing from the 6th floor, his flight from the building, shooting Officer Tippit, his capture and Ruby shooting him. @TonyBananas101 the only reason Ruby was at the western union was to wire money to an employee if not he would not have shot LHO his reciept was stamped 11:17. LHO was supposed to be transfred more than an hour earlier, why would ruby take his dog if he predetermined to shoot him. And from all the evidence, LHO would have been convicted and died in a texas jail or been executed
