TomTom for iPad and iPhone

http://www.IPhoneMinute.com ,TomTom released its iPad app that offers sat-nav goodness without the clunky looking sat-nav. It costs $49.95, which isn't that expensive when you consider how much you would pay for a standalone sat-nav, and takes eight minutes to download.

if we have a 3G, how does the ipad read the information for the Tomtom GPS? can we put inside our mobile phone card for example? Or we need a different data plan just for the ipad?

The regular tomtom is most likely better because it does not require 3G to work. Nice video tho.
