so u have Kindle 3 (that costs 114$) and any ads pop up when u read PDF and any book, right?just to make sure cuz i m about to order one, either 114$ one or 139$

Hi cariocaturco,

I would really recommend the $114 version. The ads don't pop-up when you're reading your e-books. When the reader is not used it goes into a like-screensaver mode that I found out doesnt really drain your battery. In this screensaver mode it displays those mentioned ads.

The ads are not distractive or annoying at all.

Once you turn on your kindle to read your e-books they're gone .

what about the kindle touch? u have one yet? and does it pinch in-out when u r reading PDFs?
