I really like certain things. Beaver Tails, Bacon, Bad-assness. This video has 2 of those 3 things.
This is Part Two, where I actually make them and do the toppings. If you want to learn how I made zee dough, in Part One - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EIANQ9oIaA0
IMPORTANT! First, let me state that this is 'my version' of how to make a beaver tail. And neither I, nor this video are associated with the officially trademarked BeaverTail.
However, credit is due to BeaverTails Canada Inc., creators and owners of the Beaver Tail, which inspired this video.
Visit their website to find if there is a BeaverTail store near you. http://www.beavertailsinc.com/
I do take all the credit in the world for my bacon/apple topping. My original creation. It is da bomb.
Bacon/Apple topping:
Equal-sized cuts of *bacon and *apple (and *lemon juice for apples, if necessary)
Cooked in a pan on medium-ish heat
Add *brown sugar (lots, the bacon is rather salty, after all), *flour, *cinnamon, a little *nutmeg, I think that's it. Just cook the apples through, the bacon should be fine. (sorry I don't have measurements, clearly I was completely winging it)
Maple Topping:
*Maple Extract (can substitute any flavour of extract)
*Powdered Sugar (it's mostly this)
A little water
Cook in a small pot on low-medium heat. To re-heat once hardened, just add a little water and stir it over low heat again.
Pizza: Just remember to preheat your oven, top the beaver tail and toss it in. Use pizza sauce, NOT pasta/spaghetti sauce! Big difference.
I clicked this video expecting the actual tail of a beaver being cooked...I am disappoint, especially since I just saw a video of legit cooking a beaver tail.

@TheBeerclaw Not cool man, the beaver is like, our national animal or something. That would be like roasting a Bald Eagle.

Your recipe is pretty good, but seeing as I work there, before you let it rise you should cut it up in smaller disk forms that way it's easier to work with and they'd be the same shape, and as for shaping them, you should be stretching it and the middle shouldn't be thin since it doesn't make a fluffy beaver tail. Another tip I'd give is not to fork it because you want it to inflate a little bit. Before applying ANY topping butter is actually what makes it tastes so amazing. Oh and the original

@Fatimaeljamal93 Thanks for the thoughtful comment! Personally, I like my tails thin and crispy in the middle, and more fluffy on the outsides, but I'll definitely try your other suggestions out. Thanks :)
