NOD is way better then GDI
-
Always prefered the second one to the original, mainly because I'm afraid of the deep and also because you could right click behind doors to open em ;)
Though it was a pain showing up on a terror mission with underwater weapons

Him and the barracuda were never found. Could he have been turned into a deep one or a
bio-drone? Perhaps you, not knowingly, have seen and killed him on a playthrough...

still looks awesome to me :)

@Virginityrocks u kidding me? that looks fucking amazing for mid 90s. And it had the design feeling that only masterfully good movies have.

Poor Jake...
Why did they send him alone to the dangerous place?
Budget shortage?
-
Jake? Jake? Jake?
-
dialogue director: ok, i want you to have terror in your voice"
voice actor: (yawn) ok.
READY, ACTION, AND VOICE!
Jake: (bloodcurdling scream)
voice actor: "jake...come in (man, i'm so bored, when is this scene finished)...jake, um, uh, jake..."

@i90east there are still some interesting games out there but it is true that most games are shooters but whatever I would love to see a game like the old xcoms fully hd graphics

Duh -- wrong place to complain about this "old" game... i doubt you'll get any support from anybody for it. Unless you get lucky & find a recent distributor willing to fix your problems. ;)

I love watching "AWESOME 3D INTROS!!!" that I saw when I was a kid and re-watching them as an adult, realizing how crappy the effects were.

GDI has evolved soo much since, Mythos people certainly had talent to blow up the Hyperion and bring an alien sub out of the abyss. Crappy? Mid 90's, remember?

This video is awesome. Theme-wise, this game had great potential and it could've been a masterpiece like its predecessor. Too bad they botched it. :(

TFTD was a sequel to a great original gameplay concept - that's a given.
