The Lion King is (C) Disney.
***
If someone remembers first version of translation which were on my previous account, then it would be better if you forgot about that, because the better version is coming! XD

But seriously...

I like this version veeery much! :3 (Not a surprise 8D). The things I like in this version are the deepness of his voice (in one part he even sounded... sexy? o.o) and how he comes from low voice to shout.

The singer is Marek Barbasiewicz. He also dubbed Rasputin, but in TV version and it's very hard (almost impossible) to get this in good quality.

Enjoy! ^w^

  • Polish seems like a very hard language to learn, but that's what makes it cool!

  • Im a polish american and I must say I much prefer listening to the polish version of a song/movie whenever possible :) I'm a lot better with english unfortunately but polish is one of my favourite languages. Greating voicing, whoever did Scar in this edition- he had that delectable polski accent but also had a cruel kind of singing voice- perfect for Scar.

  • @tdubis70 Are you sure about that at 1:40? Because between what Google Translate suggested, and what this person put, it seems that it should be something close to "Yes, my honor [great one, my king, take your pick], we are going to profit/become important." Are you sure that it isn't closer to that? I mean sure, what this person put isn't wrong per se, but it is very strange to say in english.

  • @101jir NM, I thought I was responding to a comment on the German one *embarrassed* How is it a parrallel of "our teeth and ambitions are bared?"

  • @edvsite So I imagine. Though in Germany, is white considered the color of envy, or was that just a wierd result of the translation?

  • @101jir It seems to be a rough parallel to the English version "Yes, our teeth and ambitions are bared." Unfortunately, the pun on "bare" is lost in translation.

  • Polish rocks!

  • english is just to soft for this song

starting in germany and ending in russia

evry cunty between those 2 are a liddel bit better in this case <3

  • They aren't mistranslations- she/he is polish (karimeru I mean).

  • @czekarol przetłumaczyłam to na google i nie poprawiłam -.-

  • @TheSofidan Po twojej ortografii nie widać-_-

  • Actually, instead of "Yes, awesome, we're going to have influences," the infamous Google Translate suggests "Yeah, well, we will have revenues." Not much better, but at least now I think I might get where this is going.
