I have tried this before but it just broke the 78 cartridge and everything went green.... I am not going to do that again as also made a right mess of my hand. Note to self when handling ink wear disposable gloves! 0:43 looks like an important colour note! Yellow red blue as you can tell from the ink left on the nozzle ;-) Still dont know why it broke and went green though...

how to buy the ink?
Kaustabh0012 9 months ago
so you do puncture the sponge but dont push the needle too far in to the sponge. i did it without puncturing the sponge, just placing the ink on top of it, didnt work.

@a1be2 If you push the needles down too far(after you start feeling strong resistance) you will push the needles through the sponge and down into the filter. If you puncture the filter, the problem you were experiencing will happen.

do you have to pierce the sponge inside??? I pierced it and after I had finished refilling it wouldn't stop dripping from the head part and had to get rid of the cartridge.

@0051chris Hp is the best. More durable cartridges compared with canon and hp printers dont need resetting. Canon needs a reset after a certain number of page + a reset on its cartridge as well if u prefer refilling it. With HP, it is economical and effective and efficient. User friendly.
