I 'm sorry but as far as I can recall, superman was first played by the 27th Lancer (Philippines) when they're still in their kilts uniform, I think hat was year 1982. And I believed no other foreign drum corps played this tune, DCI or DCA. This version of superman was an original drum corps arrangement and transposition by Mr. Lut Garrido from the original superman theme by John Williams. FYI. Thanks.

the quality of music being produced by this new generation of 27th Lancers is well beyond the DCIi standard. Arrangements are superb and the notes are clear, clean and complete. I hope one day we can produce a Music DVD of this corps to preserve their accomplishments for generations to hear in the future. kudos to Sir Lut Garido and all the members of this corps.

Will there be another concert in Loreto this month? I hope they give us a big concert area to set up all of our front ensemble instruments so fans can really enjoy and have a good time listening to our music..

Excuse me! Troop 29 never played Superman theme ever. We 're the first and only corps who played superman theme from the original movie soundtrack. No DCI corps played this music, ok. One of Pareng Lut's original composition and also movie soundtrack Ice Castle. way before Madison Scout's version. He also put out his own arrangement of Bohemian Rhapsody back in the 80's way before Carolina Crown...

You guys still belong to the old school. In modern drum corps, percussion are in front. Watch them live in a concert like venue where they can properly set up their front ensemble instruments and see the diference.
