I am so tired in this video so please bear with me! Question: Do you have trouble with taking medications that you have to take multiple times throughout the day? If so, how do you handle this problem especially if you have insomnia?
I do okay with 2x meds but I'm awful with 3x ones. Basically I take them when I get up and when I go to bed. This works bec I don't have strict 12 hour dosing or food requirements.
I have the answer! I used to do that and endup in the hospital........opps! My daughter bought me a big pill caddy which says am,noon, evening, and night. Since she got me that no more taking too many or not enuf!
I'd also recommend setting the alarm at the other side of the rom. Also put your meds next to it, so you don't forget why the alarm is set. Also set the alarm several times at 3 minute intervals. That way if you manage to turn the first off, then the others will still work. I know you can't dash across the room for the alarm as like most Potsies the hr goes mad and bp drops, but if you take your time, the alarm will become so annoying, you'll be wide awake!
for your question bc I had the same problem to a tea he he. I have a booming loud alarm clock that wakes me up (normal alarms don't work for me) and I set it on the other side of the room so I have to get up and walk across the room to shut it off... so I'm more likely to actually stay up.
re: your meds, do you have an ipod? I have a nano and it has this little alarm you can set for all kinds of reminders...you can set it to go off with the word: CORTISONE! definitely worth looking into!!
