The Syma s026 3 channel Micro palm sized Chinook is amazing.
You can pick one up from www.xheli.com for only $24.95 Direct link to the helicopter
http://www.xheli.com/sys0michcatr.html
Shipping was about 9 dollars and took less then a week.
Flight times are around 8 minutes; charge times are pretty long, 45 minutes to an hour.
The helicopter is infra red controlled and is a fully functional 3 channel helicopter.
It has a stable hover, very fast forward and reverse flight speed, and its easy to control.
For 24 dollars you get the 3 channel helicopter, a 3 channel transmitter a wall charger for the helicopter and an instruction manual.

The transmitter has a knob in the center for adjusting the yaw (spin) trim.
It is very sensitive and only needs slight movements to affect the spin.
The transmitter also has buttons on the upper left and right hand side for adjusting the forward reverse trim; its also a good way to increase forward flight speed.

Its the fastest 3 channel helicopter Ive flown so far, and one of the most stable.
Its definitely worth the 24 dollars x heli is charging for it.
I would like it to come with spare rotor blades, and a quicker recharge time, but it is so much fun and looks so good that it is worth it.

  • where is the best place to get it?

  • @wampaAWESOMEsauce mine came from x heli but i've seen them at frys electronics and sears as well.

  • Dude you are making some really cool vids, can you tell me how the syma chinook compares to the silverlit twin hurricane ? What are the differences ? I am only just starting on these indoor helicopters so I want to get as much information as possible before I get them ^^ Thanks in advance and rock on !

  • @SoLUnlimited Both are pretty old now in helicopter terms, check out the new line of silverlit aircraft for 2011, their is one called the phoenix that i think you would realy like, i just posted a review of it.

I think the syma Chinook was a little better, but it took a really long time to charge the battery, about 45 minutes, other then that it was great

  • a friend of mine had this chopper and i flew it and the only thing i dident like is if you tried to make a sharp turn it chopped its own rotor offf

  • wtf 0:28 opening box with a throwing knife? OMG

  • @SoLUnlimited I haven't tried them out but i would like to. I've really been enjoying the sky wizard it is really stable and a lot of fun, it's worth getting.

  • @taoistflyer Aniways I think I am going to get myself the sky wizard next , judging from your vid it looks like a pretty steady one. Have you ever thought of flying the revell RC's ? Aniway peace out !

  • @taoistflyer Thanks ! I think I found myself a new hobby, I actually just started and I have nothing right now besides the silverlit helibaster, I really like how it steady it is(although I wouldn't want anything less stable). At my first attempt it actually flew out the window from the 3rd floor, I was really lucky that there was no wind so I was somehow able to land it in the grass outside.
