Just picked this up today. Lovely punchy bass, great watching music on this bad boy. Try tweaking your tv settings.

@wolfshed66 concret/cement reflects the bass => Subs should allways have a solid stand, i personally use a thick marmor plate für my Teufel Sub

I just got the hw-d551 sound bar. I turned the sub up to 6 and still not much punch. BUT then I got into the sound set up on the tv itself got to the equalizer settings and bumped up the bass from there. made a huge difference. Give it a try.
I live in an old house that would not allow for running wires all over the place to the sound bar with the wireless sub was my only option. so far I'm very happy. Cheers!

@kawasaki000000000000 The only time you may this is if you are watching a burnt dvd. Otherwise you should be ok. As for the lag fix, if it IS a dvd probably, stop the movie, then start it up again. Should be ok.

@FragStudiosTV Totally up to you man. If you're on a budget or have no room for a big surround system, then yes go for it.
