True there are Bars and churches...but that was the case way back in 98 when i graduated. If you do not like the place you live in simply save your dang money look on the net for a job outside of PA and go. If you dont then you are stuck in your own trap. Life is bigger than just Corry Beaver land. I am proud to be from such a small town and doing good things in my life because of my mentality and how i had been raised. sorry honey this was from each side of town, over east south street , down smith street, the town of corry has gone to shit,it really has. i would like to know? people that own these houses rent to trash, hud, people that really dont care about keeping up the property. for every nice house there are 10 that are not! please do the math. corry is not the way it was in 1998. my parents were from corry. the train stopped downtown a couple times a day, they had a movie theater even a opera house!!!

lol, I lived on Pepper Lane until I was 18. I always thought it was bizarre that people thought that was "rich". I now live in metro Detroit. The city of Detroit has blight that is much worse than anything in Corry, but I live in the suburbs where there are thousands of 5000+ sq ft, million+ dollar houses. So there is blight everywhere, but everyone needs to get out of NW PA to find out what the real world is about. Then you can go back and make Corry better if you still care.
