  • But does it is safe to do such things?

  • Well Denya, how safe is anything we do? Driving cars around every day seems to be a very unsafe thing to do yet we accept the risks.

This video was done back in 2002 and the fellow that was struck is still alive and doing very well. He's had no health problems at all. I've been getting struck on points for over 10 years and have never been the worse for it. As for "Is it Safe?" Of course not. It's a martial art. It was DESIGNED to hurt people!

  • OMG...that was brillant!!!!

  • Thanks. Not a very practical demonstration, but just something to show how to use points together to illicit a response.

  • Gary! That is some amazing stuff.

  • Thanks Michael. Just takes some information and a ton of practice. More misses than hits let me tell you.

  • @kyushoaikiguy Mr Boaz i love your interpretation and application of Aikido. I live in sydney Australia, do you have any students teaching your material in my city?

  • Does it take long to wake up afterward? Do you need to be revived?

  • Hey Gary, OSU. Long time no talk. Good stuff.

  • Thanks Gamer. It was a good day for me.
