Some Jewish people expressed outrage after Pope Benedict's personal preacher compared attacks on the Catholic Church over a sexual abuse scandal to "collective violence" against Jews. Sarah Irwin reports.

The United States need to arrest and prosecute the pedophile priests. The Catholic church and priests are not above the laws.

@willwak You can show a Catholic membership card, but that does not make you a Catholic. Nazi's removed themselves from the Catholic church the moment they committed grave sin. That's a fact. That's a rule. As long as they lived, each sinner had the opportunity to repent. That included even Hitler. That rule applies to all who sin, not just Nazis, but also fallen Catholics.

You can express all the outrage you like. Anti-Semitism and Anti-Catholicism spring from the same source. Pride; Hatred; Envy. All deadly sins. The Church did mishandle the problem. The Church does not condone the sins.
