The last couple weks, I have been spending a lot of time checking out west African sites and marvelling at the sorts of music that the "djeli" have created, even if I do not get the meaning . You do raise an important point here in that story tellers are bridge builders, whether poets, actors, musicians, painters or what ever sort of artists they may be, Art., seasoned with love and laughter, more than anything, is what raises us above the level of the beasts. Tell your tales, griot.
