It is a fake baby, only used in the rehearsal then changed at the last minute for the filming that day, I was talking to the mother of the baby and she said they use four real baby’s for filming, two are on set each day.

@66beverley I am with you. It comes on at 10:30 my time and I have to work at staying alert. The show is all of TV for me. The entire cast is so great.....I do wonder though, Are Louisa and Joe a thing in real life? Just wonderling.
