  • @clifftanch He sure did. But I wish he hadn't edited a full verse and a harp solo out of this. The extended version from this show is so much better. Still one of the high points of the show. I love Richard's spastic drumming. Lots of shoulder in there.

  • Great to see and hear this again - thanks to MrHerbsmann - but nothing can replicate the first time I did, on the big screen.

For me, it was the high point of the film. I let out a 'rebel yell' at the end of Butterfield's solo (which I've just played three times and which seemed to make the screen crackle back in 1978/9) to the consternation of my partner. Well, English people just don't DO that sort of thing....

  • Great Concert!

  • PUSHING THE ENVELOPE THAT ELVIS PUT INTO MOTION.>!

  • Serious for a moment. Scorcese - I have a lot of questions about his art, his work. But there seems no doubt the man loved his rock and roll, with a kind and gracious eye.

  • Levon and Paul rock the house.

  • 2:00 and my hair stands on end!! flipping awesome blues harmonica

  • wicked harp and vocals
