  • This is a very interesting homage to the Alexandrov Ensemble (Red Army Choir) and to the great performance by soloist Leonid Kharitonov. The choristers have good natural voices, and they are disciplined as well as the Ensemble. But the choirmaster has not developed their upper register for the chest voice, so you don't hear the extended chords in the loud sections. But bravo! I love the quick, Chinese-style accidentals (twiddly bits).
