As an assignment for the Master of Arts in Interpreting Studies at Western Oregon University (WOU MAIS), I completed a videotaping of myself spending about 20 minutes interpreting a source text I had not heard before. I found my source text, Simon Lewis: "Don't take consciousness for granted," at TED dot com. There is an interactive transcript that you can view by going to TED and finding the video. A complete description of the circumstances of making of this video is on my website at danielgreene dot com. Search for the title of this video and you will find the blog post.
I posted this for education purposes. I am not allowing ratings or comments because I don't want unsolicited criticism and I can do without praise. I would rather you use it to learn what to do, what not to do, etc. and "talk amongst yourselves" as Linda Richmond would say. I just don't want to hear it myself from anyone but my trusted teachers and colleagues.
