This eyesore is a reflection of its inhabitants.Don't say we're poor-no you're poor by choice-if you can't pick after yourself, fix your area nicely and maintain demanding standards-which is all hard work, then your poverty is a chioce because making money demands the same demanding standards, focus and discipline and hard work.If you've failed in one you'll fail in the other.
i think this is great, I see no war, no drug dealers targeting school children (bronx), i see no bag ladies in the subway, no ASBOS. In fact what is see well heeled happy people with plenty of food.
and you can also go to soweto market, longacres, libala, l live in canada and see filth, people that live on the street, and have no choice, we have problems back home, but iam still proud to be zambian.
The combination of the music and shots of the garbage make the Zambina market a tragic sight. I for myself miss Zambia a lot. It is a pity there is no money or will to dispose of the waste in a proper manner.
Despite the garbage, the poverty, and the fenced of houses Lusaka is still a happy and lively place to live.
