Are you happy?

Please excuse the terrible lag. Im not sure what is wrong with my camera.

Please think about this question and let me know your reaction. A comment would be fantastic. Sometimes writing things down is the best way to express what we are thinking and feeling.

however if you feel so compelled, a video response would be really awesome as well. Id love to match the faces with the ideas.

Also, I genuinely hope that you are happy.

Alas, it is kind of too easy for me to answer this question, but the reasons for my response are complicated.

In short, I will say "no." I hope that this answer will change soon, but that is what I have to say at the moment.

It's great that she actually asked about that, though. Most people don't REALLY want to know the answer to that question.

That is very true. I think that's why I had such a difficult time answering it. The statement wasn't worth the explanation. And do I even have an explanation or am I just unreasonably dissatisfied with things? Its a difficult distinction.

I dont want to say Im sorry that you arent happy, because I feel like those words are another automatic response. I will say, however, that I hope things turn up for you and even if you arent happy overall, I hope you find happiness in moments.

I don't think I know what being happy is yet for me to definitely say yes or no, I want to be happy, I am a happy person, but I don't know whether there's another level of ' happy I've haven't experienced to way it up against this 'happy' I'm feeling.

But you asking me made me happy :)
