I had mad some when I was young. Today there still have a small bottle of nitroglycerin in my house. Honestly I don't know how to deal with it now.

@MathEtPhysics Man it's not like you think it is, first off nitro is pretty hard to set off with the water dissolved in it, hitting it with a hammer anyways, i haven't tried the drop test yet, anyways the only threat you face is a runaway, ive done it, and basically the acid just boils off, wasn't an explosion, and then of course the headaches, there bad. I actually have a vid up of 100 ml of the shit, pretty damn loud!!

@MathEtPhysics I've done this, it seems like he drained off the normal batch of nitro, then added some chloroform to get the dissolved nitro out of the rest of the water, the nitro was dissolved in the chloroform then when he added water it fell out of solution, then it looks like he dissolved it back into the chloroform maybe for storage, i either make dynamite with mine if i wanna store it, but straight nitro i use within a week

So, I'm watching this, and I see you're mixing the acids, you have the glycerin, and you've cooled it. I see you came up with a smart method of mixing them, which kept you from blowing your arm off. Then I see you mixing it, etcetera. But what did you do at 1:49? Is that just more of the glycerin mixing in? And what were you doing at the end of the video when you were mixing the tap water in the small glass and the shaking?
