Lets Play Breath of Fire [Part 34] Dungeon of Frustration

This episode continues us off after our epic part 33, and starts to shift from epic to slowdown final dungeon stuff and frustration... over the next few parts is a heavy mixture of doses of awesome with doses of pissed off Xerxes lol

We're almost there. Very little stands in our way now.

Note* I miss a very powerful item here on accident called the Tri-Rang. Luckily it doesn't really matter because the Hero always goes dragon mode anyway... but it would have helped speed things up for sure. Bah!

@mtgxerxes. I love this playthrough man. I have a question though. I notice ur playing this on the computer and u can "super speed" your gameplay. Where did u download the game and I am wondering if you could give directions on where someone like myself may be able to play the game on the computer. Like where i myslef could download it. Keep up the vids Xerx there always awesome.

@OriginalW1NN3R Its been ages since I DL'ed them at a website that no longer exists, but I'm sure a few simple google searches can figure it out. I use zSNES emulator -- I prefer SNES9X but I don't know if that one has a 'speed up' button. Roms are even easier to get, especially for old games.

Silly Xerxes. The 'Deflect' probably means the same as 'Petrify'. Another little piece of text there just to confuse you. Bleu got a little barrier thingy when she got hit by spells, which may also be the counter attack-thingy.

@MrEasilyBored Yeah it did exactly what it was supposed to do, it just looked like it bounced off. I noticed it was odd that if it bounced off, why didn't I see it cast on the opponent? Clearly it didn't.

@bubnow There's about 75 minutes left I think, which includes multiple endings, credits, etc.

And bosses just have WAY too much health at the end of the game.

xerx as an experienced rpg player you should've known a reflect type ability also reflects heals and buffs

@mtgxerxes I don't think Bleu reflected any positive spells, since she didn't reflect any heals or FortX. The animation when the 'Deflect' thingy happened was most likely the shield spell. I do think she got the shield, but the text and the animation made it difficult to figure out whether she did or not.
