Shuichi's father's corpse, contorted into the shape of a spiral. Such an important and jarring moment of the book, entirely omitted.

Just like the manga? NO WAY.
We Americans don't get much exposure to the breadth of Japanese cinema because most of what comes over here meets certain standards. If we need an example that not all Japanese movies are great, this is it. This movie makes me feel bad for Ito Junji.

Why didn't they show the man in the washing machine??? That's what I waited for.
When I heard that there was a movie, I really wanted to see it bacuse I wanted to see how the twisted stuff get real. BUT THEY DIDN'T SHOW IT!!! DISAPPOINTED!!!
