  • if it's RF then just be careful with any antenna-like devices. metal pen for example.

    also you might inadvertently set your neighbour's house on fire (if he happen to have some loops suitably shaped to act as spark gaps...

  • This is okay for short range, but would be incredibly wasteful for long range. Remember the inverse square law.

  • indeed, it's depend on the frequency.

    however, there are many conductive objects/structures with different dimensions. some might accidentally resonate with the generator frequency.

    strong RF source will swamp nearby receivers even if the receivers are not tuned onto the source frequency.

  • doesn't that depend on the frequency and modulation of the signal? Besides,how far does it go. And does this mean that radios won't work anymore?
