THANK YOU NIKOLA TESLA!!!
-
Wirelesss electricity? didn't Nicola Tesla work on that type of technology?
-
I'm pretty sure my electric toothbrush uses similar technology to recharge without contacts ;)

indeed, it's depend on the frequency.
however, there are many conductive objects/structures with different dimensions. some might accidentally resonate with the generator frequency.
strong RF source will swamp nearby receivers even if the receivers are not tuned onto the source frequency.
-
doesn't that depend on the frequency and modulation of the signal? Besides, how far does it go. And does this mean that radios won't work anymore?

if it's RF then just be careful with any antenna-like devices. metal pen for example.
also you might inadvertently set your neighbour's house on fire (if he happen to have some loops suitably shaped to act as spark gaps...

This is okay for short range, but would be incredibly wasteful for long range. Remember the inverse square law.
