right said ...27 mins is nothing..I remember Pandit Nikhil Banerjee even took 45 mins to do Aaalap ( introduction)..in one concert in Durgapur...And he played for more than 2 hours straight...
A 27 minute performance may be very long by the standards of pop music, but it is very short by the standards of Indian classical music, in which recitals routinely cross the 70 minute mark. Still, a sterling performance by the maestro.
