"I have seen a lot of people talking about jobs... corporate greed... sharing the wealth, but I haven't seen a lot of people talking about the fact that the entire system is based on land theft and on destroying the natural world. I think that needs to be the start of our conversations, because it should be painfully clear that the health of the planet is primary - far more important than any economic system, in part because without our living planet, you have no economic system whatsoever. You can't consume a planet and live on it. Only someone deeply insane... would think so. Asking for a bigger piece of pie on a planet that's being murdered is a wee bit insufficient... Unless we wrest power away from corporations, unless this culture is stopped, it will, for all practical purposes, end life on earth."

thanks. so I should credit " The task of an activist is not to navigate systems of oppressive authority with as much integrity as possible. The task of an activist is to confront and take down these systems of oppressive authority. " to Lierre Keith ? do you happen to know where(which book/speech) it's from ?

    Best Regards from Vienna

  • Namasté, Derrick Jensen ! -- who has been called (and deservedly, imho:) " the leading voice of uncompromising dissent ", and who probably is rather " the leading voice of uncompromising RESISTANCE" --

    READ HIS BOOKS !
