If it's illegal there will be a black market on it. If people want an abortion, the law WILL NOT stop them. The abortion pills will become black market, doctors and non doctors will see people privately in the comforts of their own home to remove the baby using current legal methods. For the sake of the common welfare, let the people who want abortions get them the safe way.

I applaud u for stating your point of view! You are a very smart woman. I totally agree, from a religious standpoint, all ppl do not share the same religious beliefs, so 1 particular group should not be able to make a choice for the majority. Every woman should have the right to choose.

Well, it is not the matter of being overpoppulated, i guess... it is a fact in my country that mothers actually throw their babies into rivers to die because abortion is illegal and they have to get rid of the child after they are born.

Should women who want to steal from others have the legal right to do so? No, because their doing so hurts someone else. Same thing with abortion: women have no right to abort the life of a baby because it involves hurting...and indeed, killing...someone else. No one has a right to do that. The right to life is the most important right of all.

i can not agree more with you. What happens is that here in Brazil, even when the baby has a serious disease or it is to be born brainless, it is not legal to end the pregnancy. So the mother suffers anyways, you see. thanks for your comment.
