Phallystorm - wow, i've NEVER heard anyone say that a 100 watt amp wasn't loud enough for a band. Try putting some mids in your sound. I've even used this amp on the 10 watt setting and it was loud enough.
Hello, I love the looks and features of this amp. I would like to buy it but I need to know if there's any way to change channels via midi? For example with g-majot or some kind of gsp 1101. BTW amp doesn't have built in midi.
I had this Amp in the beginning of 2010, and all I can say is that the Tone is there, However it is not overly LOUD enough to compete with a Loud band. The tone gets lost in the mix even when I had her cranked out on the Hi Gain 100 watt settings. My 4100 was pretty versatile, but again No Headroom. When I bought the Mesa Boogie QUAD Preamp, and a Mesa 295 POWER AMP I was Shocked at the amount of Headroom available. Not to mention killer Mark IIC+ MK1,MKIII ,IV, & Rectifier TONE I was getting. YES
trust me people this amp can get you a tone for ANY kind of music. hes only using the overdrive 1 channel which has less gain. if you want a metal as fuck amp this is it. the overdrive 2 channel is amazing for anything
Im considering buying this amp too! So many options with the power grid switches. plus 4 independent channles. Im poor though... I need to make some extra money!
