This is one of the reasons I love Scrubs as much as I do. Its funny off the wall comedy, but then in the blink of an eye they turn it around and make it so serious and meaningful. Its amazing.

Most people laugh when I tell them that the only scene that's ever made me cry is this one, because they say Scrubs is a comedy show. Well Scrubs IS a comedy show, but it has serious moments at this that show you it is full of emotion.

@GeoffShouldWin to some extent she looses cox but to the same extent as JD sense JD left and she stopped working when they relocated sacred heart which means she cant be with cox or JD at work

her acting is so good here. this scene and the episode where dr. cox loses 3 patients at once make me cry every time...
