Actually, Hezbollah had the support of the majority of Lebanon's Muslims (of all sects) and Christians last summer. I guess all the Lebanese people preferred fighting back and defending their country to being bombed and slaughtered by Israel. Maybe because that's what anyone would?

For most of history, Jews fared far worse in Christian Europe--pogroms, witchhunts, forced conversions, inquisitions, etc.--than they did in Islamic countries.

It's interesting that radical leftists support Hezbollah whose main tenet is to kill all the Jews and destroy Israel. Hezbollah also threatens and kills moderate Lebanese Muslims & Christians.
