This is my 46 gallon bowfront saltwater reef aquarium. I have an Ocellaris Clownfish w/ a Bubble-tip Anemone, a Regal Tang, a Sailfin Tang, a Six-line Wrasse, a Blue and Gold Damsel, a Cleaner Shrimp, a Ricordea Mushroom, a Metallic Green Star Polyp Colony, a Button Polyop Colony, a (insert name here) mushroom, and a Torch Coral. And yes, I do know that my Tangs may outgrow their tank. However, both the Tangs have stunted their growth and have not grown for about 4 months now

  • as a member of the Tang Police, i feel compelled to tell you that your tank is too small for a blue tang. also, your tank looks like shit. its nothing personal, just how your tank looks to me.

  • @thlman how's that not personal? There's better ways to tell people things than what you just posted. This is a side hobby i do, not a passion. Therefore, it does not matter if the tank "looks like shit" be cause I do not have to money to make it not "look like shit." You'll probably argue "well why did you put those fish in such a small aquarium then?" Cause I can, and I'm not you, sir. good day.

  • what kind of light is this? i to have a 46 gallon bowfront, and i want to get some croals, do u sugest any lights?

  • i use two sets of 36" coralife T-5's They're pretty good.

  • THAT, is a great setup. Not overly buried in rock and coral, yet still pretty, and very well done.

Starting up my own bowfront 46 gal, mind you.

  • I said a Tang tang tang-itty tang and ah tang tang tang-itty tang!!!! Everybody now "TANG tang TANG-ITTY tang and ah TANG tang TANG-ITTY tang YEAHH!!!

  • I have a 7 inch tang in my betta tank.

  • LOL

  • you know, the astronauts took TANG with them to the moon.

  • @thlman i have a 6in tang in a 8 gallon biocube suck it!!!!!

  • @dedog56 OH NO YOU DIDNT! im going to have to report you to the Tang Police Headquarters. you shouldn't belittle the Tang Police. we are highly trained and skilled officers who are able to tell if tanks are large enough for tangs. we're even more important than regular police so respect my authoritah!

  • @thlman please take the pleasure of taking the tang police badge and shove it up your butt

  • I had algea problems when I used T-5 HO lights, but it could of been a coincidence. I changed to power compact 4x65w and got a protien skimmer. It was probably the skimmer that made all difference. If your algea is actualy cyano bacteria it will be difficult to get rid of it.
