This video was shot on the 21st of January. There are more clouds on Mars and you can see the rotation of the planet on this one a little better than my last one.

  • Wow great!!!

  • Thanks. I put alot of time and effor into the videos. Seeing conditions do not always cooperate but on those rare occasions I am able to get some pretty good stuff. This video in particular was shot in 33 degree weather over a period of about 2 to 2.5 hours.

  • @armicheal what telescope did u use and how much did u pay for it?

  • @hummerume - I used a Takahashi 130 TOA refractor. Visually the image looks very close to a small hubble image when viewing planets.

  • I have a 5" refractor but have never achieved such a large, detailed view as this! Nice

  • Excellent work!

  • @armicheal it sure is FANTASTIC buddy!

  • Wow, you sure are dedicated spending 2 hours in that cold weather to get these shots.

Much appreciated as I could not afford to spend that much on a telescope to get images like this.

    Thank you for sharing!
