  • One of my favorite instrumentals of the early 70's. I always wondered where that building on the label is.

  • Good question about the Mega Records building. They were headquartered in Memphis, Tenn., so if anyone knows anything about this building, please comment!

  • Actually Mega Records was headquartered in Nashville, Tn.

  • el poderoso e inigualable sonido del vinilo!!

  • @6452ss just like mine!

  • The 45 seems like it a bit warped

  • @wmbrown6 168 seconds times 45/33.3333 is 227 seconds or 3 minutes 47 seconds. I'll bet they counted the lead in, lead out and a little time sitting on the center groove. Counting on that would make a DJ look a bit sloppy.

  • Based on the typefaces used on the label copy, this pressing may've been from Dixie Record Pressing in Nashville - these fonts were on some 1972-era Motown (and subsidiary) 45's. The mastering was done by Monument Recording Studios in Nashville. Oh, and the time (I measured it) was indeed actually 2:48. They were probably counting the time as if this were played at 33⅓ instead of 45 RPM.

  • That 3:10 timing is incorrect. Seems more like 2:48.

  • Sounds a bit off-centered, but wonderful otherwise!

  • released in australia on young blodd records
