I'm a musician too, i'd love in the future to feature a hang drum, though I can't afford one at the moment (:() I have though a lovely tongue drum by tribal thunder which is rather different, in some aspects for certain songs I even prefer the sound which is more bell like, but they're in fact different instruments...
I really hope to grab a hang when I can!!

Love it! You might want to consider trying a native american flute in the mix. very mellow and loves the hang. you can hear my hang and native amer flute at cdbabby. do a search for saggio. select my Hollow Bone and click on tracks 3 & 9
