@thedeadpoet13 That's not the one I say!! The music you can listen to there is sung by the people that used to sing in the choir years ago that give some concerts now, but they're not the official choir! That's not the music of nowadays Loinatz Abesbatza!

@kolme69 Are you kidding? I listened to that choir, and their rendition of Pamintuan's Pater Noster is horrific. I kid you not. You might want to check their recordings AGAIN at loinatzabesbatza(dot)com!

This is a piece that is best performed simple. With no vibrato and not a soprano that is about a quarter to high of tune :S She is very well heard too, isn't she.. Too sentimental arrangement on a beautiful piece that should be sung simple.

Muy bien, pero el tempo demasiado lento. Desvirtua la obra y desmerece la interpretación.

Are you a retard or what? Nothing beats the UP Madrigal Singers, the best choir in the world, two-time champion in the European Grand Prix for choral singing. You come from Europe, you should know that!!!

the song is performed in a quite awful way!!!
There is a basque chor that sings i reaaly well (loinatz abesbatza i think that was the name).

i love this piece. very hard. there were a couple things that were "iffy", but i won't be an a** and list them. beautiful job.

sana mag post pa po kayo ng kanta nila na kasama nila ang kanilang maistro na si mam andrea!!!!!! dapat yun an mas nakapost... kung pano nila dinala ang pilipinas sa ibang bansa!!!!!
as explained in my previous comments, the video is a collage of a chance live encounter with the Phil Madrigal Singers during their recent US visit and sync-ing a previous CD audio of theirs to try to save the video footage which stopped prematurely due to a weakened battery. The Madz have numerous other better sites where you can watch them performing this and other classics to rate them objectively. Just type "Madz" in your searchbox. Can you give a link to your basque choir ?

Correction. This is a video of Madz in the US in 2007 singing Pater Noster (one of the pieces sung in the European Grand Prix in Arezzo, Italy) by John Pamintuan. However, the audio is Verdi's Pater Noster taken from the Madz Around the World Album recorded in 2000 under Sony BMG.

true. the video amateurishly taken of the event(Madz US performance 9/16/07) petered out before the whole "Pater Noster" could conclude.
The video gaps and audio to present the Madz in their "magic" moment of singing this challenging piece could only be completed in this video "collage" unfortunately. Hopefully,
the effort was not wasted.
