Start any engine regardless of displacement or compression ratio with a stock starter. The new Easy Start Cams from S&S® Cycle make hard starting obsolete for 1999-up big twins. Available in chain drive and gear drive versions. Dont get caught dead without them! More Proven Performance® from S&S Cycle, Inc., the leader in V-Twin high performance parts since 1958.

  • when the notch on the cam lobe comes around it lifts the exhaust valve slighlty off its seat relieving compression thus making it easier to start! it's genuis. and yes it really works.

  • @gliderp

Ah, Bravo Sierra, Yeh Briggs and Stratton! Ya they been doing it for years as well as many other four stroke engines. Nothing new here only reapplied to a different engine platform!

  • now they both need new starters!

and ??check the wiring i bet youll find a few burnt wires from too much heat going through them, right at the regulater, rectifiers

  • Hmmmm. Sounds a little like bravo sierra. I see and understand how it works, but having more moving parts scares me away. Not that it matters, I have 2 EVO's to wear out before I get a TC.

What sort of reliability analyses or tests have been done? I see nothing on the web site but marketing wank. S&S is a good company with great products, but this worries me.
