The IMF holds a relatively large amount of gold (TUNGSTEN) among its assets, not only for reasons of financial soundness, but also to meet unforeseen contingencies. The IMF holds 103.4 million ounces (3,217 metric tons) of gold, worth about $83 billion in ETF's as of end-August 2009, making it the third-largest official holder of gold tungsten in the world behind Fort Knox.

The IMF's Articles of Agreement strictly limit the use of the gold. But in some circumstances, the IMF may sell gold tungsten or accept gold as payment from member countries. The IMF will not accept calls from Eric Sprott or any other individual who is not a member nation.

Today, the IMF is considering selling some of the gold tungsten it has acquired over time as its finances have become unsustainable following a large increase in outstanding credit derivatives in recent years.

  • IMF stands for "International Monetary Funds". Not illuminati.

  • @jenn1ifer What's The Difference?

  • IMF and other entities must gather all the gold and any other worldly values. You won't have wealth of any kind (as you don't now) and then the NWO can force us to accept their world government.

  • @BrownEagle7 You are correct. The IMF is in the process of trying to gather the economies of Poland, Mexico, Uganda, Germany and the Netherlands. Using credit lines or loans that can never be paid.

  • Are you sure there is gold in Fort Knox? It might already have been given to the Federal Reserve Bank, or China, or Japan, or England, or ......

  • @CaptKangeroo yeah, Gold Tungsten just for show.

  • thewayhomeorfacethefiredotnet ( free book), read the book and learn about slavery, poverty, criminals, justice, it will teach you how to fight back to regain your freedom and what the rich/ and the system have taken from you using their injustice laws n' government. it explains the truth about God, what He wants and can do for you, not what religions claim to do. Learn the Truth, and with it we will be free (Spiritually and materially)

  • Oil is consumable and impractical for using it as a form of measure. Gold..is not.

  • For all we know there really is no gold at Fort Knox anymore. The gold that was confiscated from the American people in 1933 was given away long ago. Tungsten??? You don't need to cut into a gold bar to see if it's really tungsten inside. A brick of gold has a specific amount that it should weigh. If it doesn't weigh what a brick of that size is supposed to weigh, it's not gold - it's something else. Gold has a higher atomic weight than most other metals. It is also less chemically reactive

  • @jenn1ifer HAHAHAHAHAHA nice

  • GOLD??? what a facade.....OIL IS THE NEW GOLD

  • @turquoisegiants Nope! I'm ready! I had the foresight to plan ahead. Gold, Guns, Food, Seeds, Water, Medical Cannabis and Whiskey. But yeah you are Right "paper money is worthless". Gold is King!

  • @Premiumstudios I have no thoughts. So I can SEE. It is your thoughts that have you scared of this scenario, or that one. It is all your fear. You are creating reality with your fearful intention and focus. Think less and feel good now. Watch the world transform. It is all an illusion.

  • @turquoisegiants Your thoughts are worthless.

  • Gold "tungsten." Clever of you. Yes, we know how to fake gold, until somebody cuts into the bar and finds the gray metal, tungsten. Two different elements; two different values. Keep the two words separate or explain your propaganda. It's easy to throw around your phrase, "gold tungsten." By the way, I am a large owner of physical gold bars; the only tungsten I have is in the watch on my wrist. I know the difference. Does your audience?

The only gold that matters is that which I posses.
