This is truly profound. I do not use Tarot but the Oracle of Rama of Tulsidas. Here, the notion of Karma with the fool, inasmuch as he is being propelled by samskara versus free will, is almost directly parallel to the eastern oracle, and can be easily integrated in my practice. This was extremely enlightening for me.

hijohn i have a question about the devil card if you could enlighten me, do you believe that the card is predominantly negative or is their a lighter side to the card to balance it more liek the others?

Dear Anya:
It depens on your philosophy of life.
If you think accidents and sickness are real and have their own life and they control us, then the Devil is negative.
If you can see that Love is all and has the greatest power and miracles can and do happen because the truth about life is that it is harmonious and we can align with harmony and so bring benefits into our lives, then the Devil is a glitch or a challenge or illusion to be understood.
