Composer and Audio director Jeff Van Dyck takes us through the recording of Total War: Shogun 2's music by Australian Taiko (Japanese drum) group TaikOz.
The music in Empire and Napoleon wasn't bad... just not noticeable. To soft and not enough Umpf behind it. It wasn't bad but it was sort of like elevator music. Enjoyable but you quickly forget about it.
Play Rome or Medieval and TRY not to notice the music, it's impossible.

I'm so glad they got Jeff Van Dyck back. His music was so much better than what they had in Empire or Napoleon.

The whole game lost credibility to me because they didn't use real Japanese drummers. LOL
